Intro to Athas

Athas is a sun-burnt land forsaken by the gods, water, and hope. The natural resources have been depleted and a lack of metal has resulted in the use of wood, obsidian and bone for weapons, tools and other common equipment. In such a harsh and unforgiving land, even the most mundane of creatures have developed psionic abilities in the constant struggle of survival of the fittest.

In such a world as Athas, a death by natural aging is considered to be a great achievement and an event worthy of celebrations.

• Added Forums for the actual setting and rules specific to Dark Sun.

• Races page now incs ready to play races for the B&B system. I have added many of the main ones, but will add more 1 at a time we go. (Mainly half-giants/goliaths, genasi, possibly aarakocra)?

• Changed this page, by adding this and map. (The kids chose Dark Sun for the setting for our lunchtime RP activity, so I will be on this site a lot now).
• Created a Races Page: Races present will be modified for this setting.
• Added pics to the Main Points of Dark Sun Page
• Changed the theme, in the hope Shane can do me a cool Banner ;)
